Novify is a decentralized perpetuals exchange focused on privacy and speed, and they are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (Rust) to enhance their trading infrastructure. The role involves designing and delivering backend features, optimizing trading flows, and ensuring high standards of code quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver backend features end-to-end in Rust
• Develop novel strategies for ledger operations within ZK constraints
• Optimize trading flows for institutional-grade performance and reliability
• Partner on infrastructure and pipeline design improvements
• Uphold high standards for testing, code quality, and reliability

Requirements

• 3–4+ years of hands-on Rust development in production
• Strong background in high-performance, concurrent systems (async, multithreading, etc.)
• Familiarity with low-latency trading systems and/or order management
• Comfort with Web3 primitives and on-chain settlement models
• Product-driven mindset with the ability to ship quickly and at high quality

Preferred

• Applied cryptography or ZK experience
• Data pipelines/warehouse expertise
• Financial engineering fluency
