Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to a new greenfield project for a MedTech client.
• Help define technological standards and support architecture decisions with Rust.
• Collaborate with an experienced C++/C# developer team and support their transition to Rust.
• Be part of building a Rust competence center.
• Help shape the project from the ground up.

Requirements:

• University degree (ETH, FH, Uni, HF) in Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of experience in software development, including 3 years using Rust.
• Strong expertise in C/C++ and Embedded Linux; experience with C#/.NET is a plus.
• Experience with real-time requirements in embedded systems.
• Experience with Docker and Messaging in distributed systems.
• Ability to support and upskill developers from other paradigms in Rust.
• Experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps (e.g., Cargo pipelines).
• Excellent English skills are essential, German language skills are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel to the client site 2–3 days per week.
