About the_ _Role
We are in search of a Quantitative Developer possessing exceptional analytical capabilities, as demonstrated by a background in mathematics, physics, computer science, engineering, or similar fields. A profound enthusiasm for technology and software creation is crucial.

While prior experience in crafting low-latency systems is advantageous, it's not a strict requirement. What's imperative is a strong interest in these domains. Candidates who exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit and the belief that any problem, no matter its complexity, can be addressed, are highly regarded.

Preference is given to individuals who are either located in, or open to self-relocating to London, valuing the benefits of an in-person work environment among peers with similar interests.
This position offers a distinct chance to play a pivotal role in the evolution of our core infrastructure. You will collaborate intimately with the founding team on vital and intricate aspects of our operations, assuming responsibility for specific areas from the outset. The role affords ample opportunity for proactive engagement in shaping your duties, contributing to meaningful and enduring advancements within the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Extending and improving our low-latency connectivity and trading infrastructure
• Fine tuning the performance of our core pricing engine for optimal throughput
• Contribute to optimising our network infrastructure for fast data transmission
• Design, develop and test new features and components relating to high frequency trading, trade monitoring and risk management

Requirements

• Very strong applied programming skills (at least 2 years experience) in Rust
• Experience building systems for data processing or other latency sensitive applications
• Experience writing high-performance multi-threaded code
• Experience developing scalable distributed systems
• Understanding of database systems and basic SQL queries
• Comfortable working with Linux/Unix, AWS, Git, Docker
