We are not a pair programmer, we are an AI Staff SRE that helps engineers operate complex production systems safely and efficiently. We believe this is a massive, underserved market, and we are looking for a true technical partner to build this company with us from the ground up.

About the Role
This is not a typical engineering job. This is a co-founder role. We are searching for our first technical partner, a passionate Product Engineer who gets excited about the complex, high-stakes world of live systems.

You are a systems thinker who cares deeply about user experience, from the polish of a landing page to the instantaneous feel of a CLI tool. You are ready to take a calculated risk to own a product, define an engineering culture, and build a category-defining company from zero.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect our entire product world: You will own the full stack to the core product itself.
• Build a world-class CLI: You will lead the development of our client application in Rust, focusing on uncompromising performance, security, and a polished, interactive user experience.
• Engineer our AI backend: You will build our AI orchestration service using Python and FastAPI, architecting a "Perception Layer" that deeply understands DevOps environments (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Be a Strategic Partner: You will be a foundational voice in all major decisions, from product roadmap and architecture to fundraising and hiring.

Requirements:

• You have a stellar portfolio or a public GitHub profile that showcases clean, well-architected systems or tools.
• You are an expert in building full-stack applications and have a strong command of a backend language (Python or Go is a great foundation).
• You are either proficient in Rust or are a highly skilled systems engineer who is excited by the challenge of using it for a safety-critical application.
• You have experience with, or a deep passion for, the DevOps/SRE space (containers, orchestration, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure).
• The prospect of a significant, life-changing equity stake in a high-growth startup excites you more than a stable salary.

The Offer

• Title: Founding Product Engineer & CTO
• Compensation: This is an equity-first co-founder role with no initial salary. You will receive a substantial equity grant between 5.0% and 15.0%, commensurate with your experience and commitment. A competitive market-rate salary will be implemented immediately upon closing our first round of funding.
